The Source

If you’ve got a problem, no matter how big or small the Student Advice Centre (or The Source as it's commonly known) can help you. The Source is staffed by professional advisors offering free, confidential, advice that is independent of the University.

The Source offers information, advice, assistance and represenation should you need it on a wide range of issues including:

• Financial
• Legal Issues
• Housing
• Academic
• Personal/Family
• Health/Safety
• Employment
• International Students
• Mature Students
• Disabled Students

Based in the Students Union building at Kedleston road, The Source is open from 10am to 4pm weekdays when students are able to drop in or make an appointment with one of the advisors.

Alternatively if you are based at one of the University's Satellite Sites just let them know and The Source will happily come to you.
