Finding the right housemate

When thinking of moving away from home or out of halls of residences you need to consider finding the right housemates to share with. Some things to consider are:

• How many people do you want to share with?
• Do you want your own space?
• If moving in with friends, how well do you know them?
• If you have shared with them in halls of residences how did it go?
• What sort of lifestyle do you like? Do you like to party all night or have quiet nights in? How does this match with people you are thinking of sharing with?
• Could you live with these people and study with them, which may happen if you are on the same course.

Think about these things and other things from your own experiences and make an informed decision.
