EMA
EMA is paid to weekly students, is means tested and related to attendance to full-time further education courses. Eligible students are paid either £10, £20 or £30 per week dependent on their family income. To find out more check out: http://ema.direct.gov.uk/
Care to Learn
Are you under 20 and need help with cost of childcare? Care to Learn can help by paying towards cost of registered childcare, including holidays, and travel costs to and from the childcare provider. To find out more and see if you are eligible check out: http://www.dfes.gov.uk/caretolearn
Dance and Drama Awards
If you are over 16 and wish to apply to a course for dance or drama you may be able to apply for an award. Family income is not taken into account but you must still make a personal contribution and reach the eligibility criteria. Access Funds/Learner support funds
Money is given to colleges to help with hardship, residential and childcare support. Princes Trust
The Princes Trust offer help to young people aged 14 to 25 who are struggling to start or continue with education, training, volunteering or employment due to lacking funds. To find out if they can help you check out their website at: http://www.princes-trust.org.uk
