Making A Complaint
As students you have the right, and in turn the university would encourage you, to make a complaint should you feel that an aspect of your learning, a university service, a facility or a site is unsatisfactory and should be investigated.
Initially it is expected that many concerns can be resolved at the point at which they arise by the member of staff directly concerned, overcoming the need to formally record a matter of complaint.
In turn the Students’ Union will be responsible for ensuring that the complaints procedure operates in line with the Universities procedures and without fear of recrimination or retribution against the complainant. As The Source is independent and therefore impartial, we can offer students reassurance, support, representation and advice with regards to how they should approach a complaint and what theirs rights are throughout.
