Students are the main target for burglars and other criminals with car theft, burglary and having your purse/wallet/bag stolen being the most common crimes happening to students. Your Vice President of Welfare and Student Rights, Mia Gahan, has been running a 'You've been Targeted' campaign since September 2011 aiming to highlight to the students' at the University of Derby the importance of safety both in and out of the home.
