Airsoft is an adrenaline combat sport much like Paintball, however it is more physical, realistic and faster paced.

Using high grade replica firearms, similar to BB weapons, you will be firing 6mm plastic balls at velocities of up to 500fps (feet per second), which can hurt on occasion.

Game play usually involves realistic objectives e.g. 'Secure the Intel', 'Search and Destroy', compared to the less realistic 'Capture the Flag' and 'Deathmatch'.
Skirmish sites can range from vast dense woodland, abandoned industrial estates and even derelict nuclear underground bunker networks. The Airsoft team mainly play at Woodland sites, and make regular trips to Matlock and Solihull, Birmingham at weekends.
We train on a regular basis, improving our fitness, tactics and strategies, and working on our 8 man team to compete against other Universities.
