D.U.C.K (derby university cane and kayak club) 

duck is a non elitist club that loves everything wet and wild. duck has been running at a club for the past 7 years taking people on trips to river and kayaking events all around the UK. 

the kayak club has a number of coaches who love teaching begginer paddler all the way up to expert paddlers. duck also competes in a number of competition such as the BUC's slalom and the BUC's whitewater racer we also take part in NSR which is the biggest student kayaking freestyle event in the world. no matter what level its a great weekend and great chance to see some of the best UK freestyle paddler which have included 3 of our own member in the Experts final.

the club also doesn't just do kayak we have a number of members who are trained raft guide and use there skills to take rafting trip and even competing in the british raftig championships which need members to compete in each year. last year the DUCK rafting team where invited to be the first to paddle on the new olympic artificual white water centre near london
