The University of Derby Students’ Union employs over 50 full-time and part-time staff across 10 venues spanning Derby, Chesterfield and Buxton. Each year we run two major entertainment events (with around 2,000 attendees), three Freshers’ Fairs (hosting over 100 stalls), a nationally recognised Advice Service and our seven commercial outlets (from bars and shops to our fitness suite). The Students’ Union has an annual turnover of more than two million pounds so it should be quite apparent that we aim to have a big impact on your time here at The University of Derby.
