The University of Derby Students’ Union employs over 50 full-time and part-time staff across 10 venues spanning Derby, Chesterfield and Buxton. Each year we run two major entertainment events; SnowBall and May Ball (with around 2,000 attendees), three Freshers’ Fairs (hosting over 100 stalls), a nationally recognised Advice Service, 'The Source' and a range of six commercial outlets from our bar; 'The Academy,' our coffee shop; 'Blends' to our shops; 'Keddies', 'Artique,' 'Rotunda' and 'The Dome Shop'. The Students’ Union has an annual turnover of more than two million pounds so it should be quite apparent that we aim to have a big impact on your time here at The University of Derby.
