All kicked off at 9pm!! Many people showed up in, police, firemen, nurse, doctors outfits, and the dance girls made a huge impression on everyone with a wicked performance to Kanye West’s ”Stronger” - even though two people tried to get into the performance on stage. The A-Team; in there first live event, played loads of cheesiness to start the night off, including Y.M.C.A to which D:One’s Sheriff, Ruth & Gwain did the actions for, and also some indie, with some of today’s pop from Girls Aloud (shame Paul G weren’t there). Next up also in her first live event was Ruth, kicking off with some great rock & pop classic’s from the 80’s and 90’s and today, including 5ive to Blondie!. Gwain was up next with the punk/ska/indie cheesiness! He kicked off with ”Bad Touch” which is when i got up to dance with Ruth, and ended with ”Mr. Brightside” with everyone doing all there own actions to ’started without a kiss’. Before i was about to go on, the dance girls had a surprise with a fireman stripper to ’sexyback’ & also a spur of the moment charity auction which raised quite a bit of money! Then there was me, playing today’s hits and past hits like ”All about you now” to ”Spice Girls mega-mix” and everyone else’s requests of r’n'b to dance. Things came to sudden hault at 2.15, and everyone seemed to enjoyed themselves - and gotten pretty drunk!!!

Welcome to the new look D:One website.

I am still in the process of updating it properly so bare with me please. I have done away with a lot of the blog functions that in my opinion we didnt need and replaced with a standard navigation menu at the top. People had a hard time listening in last year so the simpler the better. All those old issues of connection problems and incompatibility should be fixed pretty soon though with our new server and license on the way. Lets all pray for a smooth re-launch this year.

I am going to write a little  javascript application that will  announce at the top of the main page (news) who is on air at the moment, with a clickable link to take you to the listen page/address. Or I may be able to include it in the header (maybe aligned right on the nav panel) and have it over all the pages which actually makes more sense. Anyway hope you like the site, comments are always welcome.
