Programme Representatives

A Programme Representative is a part-time, unpaid, student representative who has been elected by the student body. They receive issues from the students studying on their programme and relay these to the Faculty Representatives and their programme leaders. These positions may also work closely with the education based Part Time Officers and the full time VP Academic Affairs.

Each programme usually has two representatives per stage and their core role is to represent the students within that programme. Programme Representatives are not classed as Officers of the Union though are expected to attend meetings of the Union Council and may vote on policy at those meetings.
