Elections 2012 - Could it be your Bag?

We want to make your life at university better!

It's a simple statement but not a simple goal. With over 22,000 of you - each with your own wants, needs and preferences - it's simply not something we can do alone. Do you have the tools in your bag to help us help you?

Whether it's sport, events, speaking, volunteering, writing or anything else – we want your tools in our bag! There's over 30 vacancies, both full time and part time, that we want to fill. If you're passionate about students and your University this could be your bag.

If you're not interested in our Officer or Rep positions we have a multitude of other opportunities: from running a sports club, raising money for charity to writing for the student magazine – or even hosting a show on our radio station.

And even if that's not your bag then you can help: us, yourself and the 22,000 other students – simply by sparing five minutes to vote between 5th–13th March so we can ensure the right people are working on your behalf to make your life at university better.

Remember, The University of Derby Students’ Union is an independent organisation and is not part of the University of Derby. We are a non-profit organisation (soon to be a charity) and all proceeds made from our commercial services are reinvested back into our service provisions for all our students. We're doing this for you – and to be successful we need your help.
