There will be an end of year party held in the Academy on Friday 4th May, starting at 9.00pm, to celebrate the end of the year and to welcome the beginning of the summer. The end of year party will be a UV extravaganza hosted by our official Wednesday student night crew... Mukky Duck! Expect the usual fun and games on stage and great DJ's including great drinks offers from your very own Students' Union bar, the Academy. We can't wait!

Unfortunately all advance tickets have now SOLD OUT.
There will be 100 tickets available on the door on Friday night for £5 each but these will be sold on a first come first served basis so please arrive early. Once the venue is full entry will also be on a 'one in, on out' basis.
Don't miss out. It'll be a great way to say goodbye to all of your friends before heading home for the summer break and to celebrate possibly finishing all of your assignments and work for the year!

When do doors open?
Doors open at 9pm.
Can non-students attend the event?
The event is for Derby students; however each student can bring up to two non student guests (or non Derby University students) which will have to be signed in and registered on the door with the Derby students name and student number that they are attending with.
How many tickets will be sold on the door?
There are 100 spaces to pay on the door from 9pm when the doors open. Once paying on the door, you will only be given the ticket stub that gains you entry to Walkabout from 3am; you will not be able to use this ticket stub to leave and re-enter the Academy.
What happens when the Academy is full?
If you have a ticket you will be guaranteed entry at any time before 1am. If you do not have a ticket you will have the opportunity to queue and gain entry by paying on the door, however this will be on a ‘one in, one out’ basis and cannot be guaranteed.
What if I need to leave the Academy and re-enter?
There is no re-entry for this event.
When is last entry?
Last entry is 1am and last orders will be 2am, however the academy will close at 2.30am.
When can we enter the Walkabout after party?
The Walkabout after party opens 3am, however, make sure you keep your ticket stub as this is your entry to the after party and it is essential to keep this.
