How to join a Club/Society
First of all find out what clubs and societies there are—you can look here on the website, the notice boards outside The Students’ Union or from the Student Activities Department. If there’s something that grabs your interest you can find out what time and when they meet and contact the committee to find out a bit more about what they do.
When you have decided that you want to join you need to come into UDSU reception, fill out a simple form and pay the membership fee (starts from £3). This money goes straight to the club or society that you have joined and we will let them know that you have joined them.
After that all you have to do is go along, get involved and make some new friends.
You must fill in a membership form and pay the fee so that you are covered by insurance whilst you participate in your chosen activity.
