The Maths@Derby society is a group for the mathematicans at derby. We welcome all members whether they are studing a maths based course or not. We are a completely new society, only having created ourselves at the end of last year.
We have lots of plans and ideas for where to take our society.
We are going to have several talks by guest speakers planned both at the university and at other places, trips to places we want to go (for example Bletchley park) as well as social events.
All of these events will be available firstly to the members of M@D, and then any empty places will be offered at price to all students.
