d:one Radio Station

d:one is The University of Derby Students' Union's online radio station, broadcast throughout the academic year it’s a showcase of student entertainment. Having brief periods as a union-controlled station and as a student-controlled society, for 2011/12 the radio station has fallen under the umbrella of Students' Union Media. This means that key positions responsible for the operation of the station are appointed by the Students’ Union to interested students, and the presenting and show side of the scheduling is fulfilled in a volunteer-like manner. This keeps the station student led yet Students' Union funded – allowing it to grow and prosper.
