| Charity Bungee Jump Raise and Give Extreme (RAGE) is a new initiative for 2007/08 that will see and high octane approach to fundraising for our two nominated charities The Bobby Moore Fund and Winston’s Wish. The plan for the year is to raise at least £10,000 for the two charities. The concept of RAGE is to raise money as a Student Union to support student nominated charities, as a non-profit organisation we are governed by Charity Law which states we can only donate money to these nominated charities. Therefore if you see any activities or promotional material showing the RAGE logo, any money you donate will be split 50/50 between The Bobby Moore Fund and Winston’s Wish. This year as part of RAGE the Students Union is putting together a week of extreme activities, Bungee Jumping is one of the extreme activities we have lined up for you. Have you ever wanted to know how it feels to soar effortlessly through the air attached to a rubber band? Well this is your chance! To give the excitement a go, you must agree to raise £60 using the sponsorship form downloadable below, which must be filled in and handed in to the Students’ Union by Monday 4th February. Please, before you start to raise money for RAGE register your interest with me at vpactivities@udsu.co.uk so I can gauge how many people are up for the challenge!
