The aims of the society are to unite students who like rock, metal, goth, punk and ska music. We do this by organising social events such as bar crawls, club nights, gigs and actively using and communicating through our online forum (www.derbyrms.co.uk). We have also negotiated free entry /discounts/special offers at various venues and through different promoters in the area(see forum for up to date details). Through the forum we also arrange shared transport to out of town gigs and give musicans the oppurtunity to join and form bands. Members will receive a membership card and are welcome to meet reguarly in a social setting.
