The University of Derby Humanist, Secular and Atheist Society (or UDHS for short) represents atheists, agnostics, secularists, humanists, rationalists and all non-religious students. We are affiliated with the (BHA) British Humanist Association and the (AHS) National Federation of Atheist, Humanist and Secular Student Societies
We meet every Tuesday between 4pm and 6pm at Kedleston Road. Contact us or follow us on Facebook to find out which room we'll be in. New students are always welcome!
What is UDHS for?
- To provide representation for non-religous students
- To provide a forum for debate and discussion
- To balance religious influence in the University of Derby
-
To celebrate science and rational thinking
What sort of things does UDHS do?

We understand how busy student life can be. Whether you want to be active in campaigns and debates or just chat and have a few drinks with likeminded people, we welcome all levels of involvement.
Evenif you can’t spare the time, join just to show your support for non-religious representation at the University of Derby.
Sign up for UDHS at the Students’ Union reception or come to one of our meetings.
